Volunteering is simple

You don’t have to wait for an event. Pick a small spot near you, clean it, and share your before and after photos. New to it? Follow the step-by-step guide.

Sign up here and we’ll email you if we plan a group cleanup in your area. The hardest part is deciding to start. After that comes sunshine and the surprisingly great feeling of a freshly cleaned spot.

Start any time — pick a small spot near you
A small spot often takes just a few minutes
Bring your own gloves and a bag
No experience necessary
Under 18? A parent or guardian must say yes first
Share one approved cleanup to become a ★ Star Volunteer

Anything you'd like us to know?

Email me the monthly newsletter (community stories and cleanup news, about once a month; unsubscribe any time).

I understand that Clean LA Volunteers is a small informal community group, not a registered nonprofit; that I pick my own spots and volunteer at my own risk with my own gloves and bags; that my details are used only to coordinate volunteering and are never sold or shown publicly (privacy policy); and that I will follow the safety basics.

Next: we email you a confirmation link and text you a code. Your account is created the moment both are done (and a parent has said yes, if you are under 18).
