Echo Park Lake Shoreline Cleanup

The north shore path at Echo Park Lake is one of the most walked stretches in the neighborhood — and after a windy week, it needed help. Twelve volunteers spread out from the boathouse to the lotus beds with grabbers and bags.

Two hours later: nine full bags, one rescued park bench, and a path that looks brand new. The lotus beds are visible again from the bench — exactly the kind of small transformation that makes people stop and smile.
